Executive search is a recruitment process targeted at finding candidates for executive positions through proactive and discreet search. Executive Search is selective, and it is our job to select the best qualified candidate for a position based on thorough research and screening of the market. In this way, Executive Search offers our clients candidates that would not have applied for a position had it been advertised through various media. In other words, it is more or less possible to select the exact candidate you want.
Selection
Selection is a recruitment process where all candidates are found through advertising, which mainly results in candidates who are already looking for a job. In this way, you do not uncover the market and it is very likely that you end up with less qualified candidates than when you are using Executive Search. Selection just enables you to choose between the candidates who have applied not between all possible candidates.
